At the same time our zone is the scene of planning and creation of ever more highly sophisticated, so-called high-tech products and services, including postal-logistics, banking and insurance. It is also an area, which is renowned for developing the most advanced solutions in the field of industrial energy efficiency, and the development and design of passive houses. Exceptional geostrategic location<\/h3>\n

Apart from a rich industrial tradition that goes back 70 years, the biggest advantage of the Business and Industry Zone Tezno is its geostrategic location. In the immediate vicinity are the intersections of the European highway corridors 5 and 10, which connect Europe’s north and southeast in the direction Hamburg \u2013 Istanbul, and Europe’s east and southwest in the direction Kiev \u2013 Lisbon respectively. Another advantage of the zone is the fact that Maribor, as the second largest city in Slovenia, has excellent road and rail links with the Adriatic ports of Koper and Trieste, which are a distance of about 200 kilometres from Maribor. Njena predhodnica je bila v \u010dasu 2. svetovne vojne Tovarna letalskih delov. Danes je v 215 podjetjih, ki so svoj prostor na\u0161la v Coni Tezno, skupaj zaposlenih okrog 3670 ljudi.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”1942″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Na\u0161i za\u010detki segajo v leto 1941, ko so iz ni\u010d v kratkem \u010dasu tovarno zgradili Nemci. V njej so proizvajali letalske dele za potrebe vojne industrije.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”2000″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Na\u0161i za\u010detki segajo v leto 1941, ko so iz ni\u010d v kratkem \u010dasu tovarno zgradili Nemci. V njej so proizvajali letalske dele za potrebe vojne industrije.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”1943″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Pomembna dedi\u0161\u010dina so tudi podzemni rovi, ki so jih leta 1943 zaradi nevarnosti zavezni\u0161kih zra\u010dnih napadov za\u010deli pospe\u0161eno graditi na povr\u0161ini 8.512 kvadratnih metrov, in ki naj bi kot rezervna lokacija omogo\u010dali nemoteno nadaljevanje proizvodnje ob vse pogostej\u0161ih napadih na tovarno. Del rovov je \u0161e danes prehoden in jih ponujamo kot turisti\u010dno znamenitost. [\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”1944″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Bombardiranje voja\u0161kih in industrijskih objektov v Mariboru.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”1946″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Proizvodnja se je kmalu preusmerila v izdelavo tovornih vozil, nekdanja tovarna letalskih delov pa se je leta 1946 preimenovala v Tovarno avtomobilov Maribor tezno. Logotip zanjo – tri kroge in peterokrako zvezdo v sredini – je zasnovalarhitekt Jaroslav \u010cernigoj. Navdih je dobil v Parizu, v enem od vitra\u017eev katedrale Notre Dame. Logotip so uradno potrdili februarja 1947, veljal pa je do konca obstoja tovarne.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”1996″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]Po 50 letih obratovanja je bil junija 1996 za TAM uveden ste\u010dajni postopek, za ve\u010d tiso\u010d zaposlenih pa se je pri\u010del boj za pre\u017eivetje, bodisi v obliki pred\u010dasne upokojitve bodisi z odhodom na borzo dela. TAM je bil dolga leta najbe\u010dja mariborska tovarna, saj je bil v njej zaposlen vsak 10. Maribor\u010dan. Ustanovitev \u0161tirinajstih MPP dru\u017eb, ki so prevzele programe in zaposlene biv\u0161e tovarne. Sredstev za nove nalo\u017ebe ni bilo, zato so dru\u017ebe takoj za\u010dele iskati strate\u0161ke partnerje. Celotno premo\u017eenje biv\u0161e tovarne, zemlji\u0161\u010da, objekte, opremo ter komunalno in energetsko infrastrukturo je nato od ste\u010dajnega upravitelja odkupil Konzorcij 22 podjetij, med njimi z najve\u010djo udele\u017ebo dr\u017eavni Slovenski razvojni sklad. Sklad je pozneje svoje dele\u017ee v celoti odprodal in izstopil iz podjetij.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”2000″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]V za\u010detku leta 2000 je za\u017eivela Poslovno proizvodna cona Tezno. Ustanovljen je bil Zavod PPC Tezno, ki mu je bilo zaupano upravljanje skupne infrastrukture, povezovanje z mestno upravo in oskrba podjetij z energenti. Zavod je v nekaj letih prerasel v pobudnika nadaljnega razvoja cone.[\/et_pb_vertical_timeline_item][et_pb_vertical_timeline_item title=”2001″ _builder_version=”4.0.9″]V teh letih se je v Coni Tezno razmahnila predvsem kovinskopredelovalna industrija, velikoserijska proizvodnja delov za avtomobilsko industrijo, orodjarstvo ter izdelava specifi\u010dnih proizvodnih sistemov. Okrog njih so se polagoma zbirali podizvajalci in komplementarne dejavnosti. Naglo se je povzpelo \u0161tevilo storitvenih dejavnosti, med njimi tudi take z velikim dele\u017eem znanja in visoko dodano vrednostjo. S prihodom novih podjetij se je za\u010dela spreminjati tudi zunanja podoba. Ob starih tovarni\u0161kih halah, ki jih je uporabljal Tam, so zrastle nove modelne zgradbe. V Coni Tezno pa je \u0161e vedno veliko prostora za nove izzive.
